  While the food was good the service was appauling. We sat out side and got our own menues after waiting a while. While the signs outside says "wave at a waiter"", there is no point as they will ignore you anyway, the waiters were more interested in talking to each other than serving.

  Really awful breakfast experience.
  
  Cold coffees. Cold food. Ingredients that weren't ripe. Meals not delivered together.
  
  Staff were nice, apologetic and ended up comping our meal which was unexpected and lovely.
  
  Won't be going back any time soon.

  Classy, efficient, modern, clean and my absolute go to local cafe/restaurant. I love to bring my dog and sit at one of the outdoor tables when the weather is nice. The food is amazing, but a little on the expensive side. You'll appreciate the extra cost if you like well sourced food from quality suppliers. Coffee can be a little on the weak side so I tend to order my coffee extra strong. Overall, I highly recommend the Pantry. One of the best cafes in Melbourne located on one of the best shopping strips in Australia in my opinion!
